Cows is filled with pointless cruelty, meaningless shock and body fluids. The promising themes and commentary are sidelined in favor of a barrage of shock and disgust that numbed me.

I hated this book, hated how it executed it's ideas, hated how Stokoe ruined the solid themes with cartoonish characters and dialogue that reject any rational thought.

I hated this book.
