aggressively british. if you put that aside what you get is a lovely little romcom. it's one that manages to be sentimental and optimistic but without falling into the trappings of being corny. it's good not because of the romance per se but because of the core relationship between the two protagonists, both when they're dating and before that when they're purely roommates. it's a nice book, i had fun!
