Probably one of my favorite book of the author; ngl I did stuggle a lot with her fantasy books mostly because I feel like her social commentary and historical settings are wonderous but I could never fully feel the character, as they oftentimes felt to me a bit underdeveloped as if they were yet stereotypes not fully developed, but in this case, her writing and her own characterization is simply magic. A brilliant commentary onto publishing as an industry and not and especially an insight onto jealousy and genius and talent. Definitely the book that I'd recommend to enjoy this author, thank you for the unhingedness Rebecca.
