moving my review down a quarter star a few weeks post-read. i still think this is a great book and definitely recommend, but i think the whole reveal about the antagonist needed a little more substance. it's not enough to disrupt the story at all, but the more I think about it, the more it was a "...yeah okay" sort of reveal. just needed a few extra pages throughout the book to flesh it out and make it a bit more effective.
