I knew I was in the minority when I gave Part Of Your World, a book beloved by so many 2 stars. I really, REALLY disliked that one, which is why I thought I was not going to like Yours Truly. Oh I was so so wrong. I am so glad I gave this book a chance, because it was absolutely beautiful.
I felt everything with this book, but more than that, to me it felt real. The anxiety representation was AMAZING, and the trauma after ending a long term relationship was SO real. Jacob and Briana have my heart, and I just want to protect them from everyone and everything. It's a slow burn (which I loveeeeeeeee), and YES, there is a LOT of miscommunication, but IMO, it's a very understandable one. I hate miscommunication in books, but in this one, I could understand it because I've been in Jacob's mind, because I've also been in Briana's.
