I love a "what-if"/potential multiverse concept. I mean, when an author ends their acknowledgements to "Every stranger with whom I’ve exchanged a glance and thought, just for a moment, about a different life where they’re my friend," I know they're writing something I will eat up. And I did.

The story went lots of different directions I'm not sure I always loved but what I do love is the discussion piece it is. Dating, finding satisfaction in relationships (and life), what remains constant and what changes, intrapersonal reflection and development. I like how it wasn't strictly Romance or Sci-Fi but somewhere in between. And funny! Without being cringey! We had a wild ride up to the last couple chapters but I loved how it wrapped up. I'll think about this one a while.

Quote that resonates (not sure if spoilery)
She’s had so many lives, and some of them were bad, but a lot of them were good, and maybe there isn’t a single best path forward that she has to find.
