Hack/Slash Omnibus Vol. 1 by Tim Seeley
3.0
Tim Seeley and a plethora of artists bring you the story of Cassie Hack. She along with her trusty sidekick, Vlad, set out to slash the slashers. After their traumatic upbringings they've set out to do what no one can, and that's ridding the world of slashers. Slashers, right out of horror movie tropes. It sounds stupid. Its not. Its parts Blade, Buffy, and many more and its pretty fun. It was actually more tame than the artwork I'd seen for the book. There are some obvious flaws in the book around following conventional tropes and some of the art was beyond bad. All that being said it was entertaining and that's the goal.
