Irreparable Harm by Melissa F. Miller

4.0

I enjoyed this book. Knowing it's the first in a series, Miller took care to establish characters and relationships that'll no doubt be featured in future books. It was pretty predictable, but, for a first in the series, the development of characters was so well done, I'll give extra credit.

I did not like the Audible narrator. Also, if you get the Audible version, be aware that the word freaking or screw is used in the written prose, while the F word is used in the Audible version. It was a little shocking since I had read much of the book before going to Audible, and hadn't seen the profanity.
