Running off of hope and the obsession with finding the truth isn’t always the answer. Most of the time, it can lead you to something you wish you never should have seen/known. Sometimes, it’s best to just learn to quit rather than suffering from searching continuously everyday until you come across something horrible. This is basically the case in this book and it’s just a wild ride. An absolutely insane thriller that leaves you with cliffhangers and suspense. Filled with so many surprises you never could have guessed. Though however, my only complaint is that they never fully elaborated what Blackwater exactly was and I wished they did. Other than that, I have no other complaints! I enjoyed reading this from start to finish and when I came across the authors note, I almost bawled my eyes out.
