Batman: Detective Comics, Vol. 1: Rise of the Batmen by James Tynion IV

5.0

Not a massive fan of Tim Drake, Smartest Person Evah, but otherwise this was pretty much a perfect book. It featured Cass, my second favourite member of the Batfamily, and some really interesting interaction between Batman and Batwoman both as their superhero alter egos and as the cousins they are as Bruce Wayne and Kate Kane. It also did a really good job of keeping Batwoman as the protag of the series, even though Batman is a character who can take over if you let him. The twist was surprising and believable and had an emotional punch in addition to all that.

Really looking forward to reading the next one!
