What happens?
Madeline is a struggling real estate agent, she needs to sign and sell more houses in order to keep her job and prove to herself she isn't a loser.
Dr Adam Foxe doesn't help this by being the unlucky person to be run over and knocked into mud by Madeline's rescue dog Mouse. Mouse helps to build their relationship together while Madeline tries to get Adam to let her sell him a house.
Final thoughts
I thought this was sweet. No not perfect, other reviews said about the dog size; yes sort of made me think what? But its not the focus of the book so I didn't focus on it... I do like the addition of the dog especially when no harm comes to the dog.
I thought Madeline came across as naive and she was starting to make me lose it with her, its a bit like the author makes her a typical rom com female lead where everything bad happens to her and shes still positive in attitude and nothing can get her down.
Adam starts off a prick. He gets better and I think hes probably the best male lead Grey has written in all honesty. I felt like he was mature and not awful the entire time to her, actually pretty nice most of the time.
Would I read again?: Yes
