Wow, I loved this book! The worse things got for the characters, the more it pulled me in. I'll be looking for other books to read from this author. Very interesting magic system and I feel like I got the entire story in one book. I love single stories that are so well written to toss in between reading series.
Warning for others though, if you're sensitive to classism, sexism, or racism this book might not be right for you.
P.S. I listened to the audiobook version, and the narrator was phenomenal!
