*Light spoilers* I have a love/hate relationship with the ending. I love how the movie changed things when it adapted it for the screen but I also love how much the book dove into how crazy Mae ended up spiraling and how deep she became brainwashed. It really was a small glimpse into a possible future here in this world. It was terrifying to think about and it also made me feel weird everytime I posted something on social media about my life. It was nice to have to that reflection.
