Re reading this for a book club was interesting as I’d forgotten a lot of plot points. It’s a fun airport thriller although there are some long sections of pseudoscience on dinosaur DNA, chaos theory (Ian Malcom is much more charming as Jeff Goldblum and his pontifications only grow in length as the book goes on and ultimately his monologues literally kill him ), and computer code.
That being said, when the action gets going, it just doesn’t stop. It strains credulity quite frequently (and for a book about a dinosaur park that’s saying something), but if you can just let it be what it is, it’s an enjoyable ride.
