A Winter Wedding at Mistletoe Gate Farm: A heartwarming festive novel to curl up with this Christmas by Helen J Rolfe

5 Word Review: Love, community, Christmas, wedding, friendship.

I wish I was the barest smidgeon as creative as Tilly is. She's like a living Pinterest board and I am jealous. She's also such an utterly good person that you can't help but love her. I would love to delve into her shop and find some treasure.

Tilly is lovely. She's so kind and generous and wickedly creative (have I mentioned yet? The jealousy of a fictional character is real).

Benjamin is just as bloomin' lovely. With his family farm, it could be all to easy for him to be cynical and sick to death of Christmas. He cares so much for his family, for everyone around him, and it really does just give you hope for humanity. Seeing his worry for his parents hit me right in the feels.

This book made me so hungry. It is absolutely perfect for reading in a coffee shop as you take a break from shopping. I wished so bad I was sat by the window in a coffee shop with a flavoured latte and a mince pie.

I loved the exploration of community in this book. I've got a feeling it's a running theme in the Heritage Cove books, and one I'm all too eager to read more about. It's the kind of place you want to live yourself, picturesque and lovely, and filled with lovely people. Like a little slice of very British paradise, complete with sometimes grim weather.

This story bring Christmas to you. From the festive feels to the decorations, the mince pies to the community spirit, I am ready for a wonderful Christmas. And I can't wait to read more of the Heritage Cove series.
