I had high hopes, but this book disappointed me. Why? Because nothing actually happens in the book. Sure there are a couple of secrets that get revealed, but there's really no plot and the entire 400 pages is basically just Mia's thoughts.
It feels that the book is really drawn out in the beginning and then within the last 50 pages the author is forced to finish it up. This is particularly evidenced by the fact that the wedding isn't even written about! The book jumps and entire month and then just says "Oh yeah, I got married!"
So beware princess Mia fans: this may not be the best read!
