This book is really interesting considering you could never ethically do this experiment on purpose, and can never replicate it the way true science should be replicated. It could have only ever happened on accident, and we are so lucky that the unfortunate person it happened to was willing to speak about it. The result is great anecdotal discussion about biological sex and gender identity, and how they are different, connected, and everything in between. As a side note, it was heartbreaking to learn that both David and his twin, Brian, committed suicide.
