**Paige Toon needs to get duet narration or at the very least dual narration for her books ASAP. The audio production team is doing her amazing writing no justice. The narrator for this book while acceptable for a female voice absolutely annihilated the male perspective. I deeply regret listening to this book rather than reading it.***

Complicated story evolving over almost ten years time. I love Paige Toons writing and her character building. The Ash and Ellie were both so stubborn, complicated and lovely. I deeply identified with Ellie cutting off her parents to pursue her life and passion on her own terms. She came back to herself over and over again.

Ash was a very complicated character. I struggled with his friendship to Rebecca and even in the end he defended his actions to prioritize her. That baffled me. But his own way of coming back to himself and standing up to his own family was charming and inspiring.

I will always choose to get lost, wrecked and out together again by Paige Toons writing.
