The Last Days of Night by Graham Moore
5.0
This is a fascinating dramatization of the Current War over the invention and installation of the US electric light system. The real-life characters come alive in the book and I genuinely cared about what happened to them even though I vaguely knew the outcomes of their lives.
I appreciated the notes at the end about what liberties were and weren't taken with the facts. I learned a lot about Thomas Edison and the other main players and the evolution of one of the most revolutionary inventions in history.
