Enjoyable continuation/new-beginning, though I'm already tired of the cliched boss who doesn't understand anything and gives the protags an unnecessarily hard time of things. Most likely outcomes from that: (1) He's a traitor, like Forsyth; (2) He'll have a face-heel turn and come to appreciate the protags better; (3) He'll get eaten by something and replaced (probably not until book 5 or 6, though).

This is the first time we've seen a non-dracul NHE who actually had any chance of harming Gray, so that was an interesting change. Curious to see if that pattern will continue through this series.
