Babysitter and widowed father? SIGN. ME. UP. I dove into Mr. Masters expecting some steam, sure—but holy hell, I didn’t come prepared for this level of HOT. This book had me on the edge of my seat, gripping the pages, practically screaming at the sheer intensity of it all. And trust me, my copy is very well-annotated. I needed to mark every sinful, emotional, and gasp-worthy moment.
But this isn’t just about the spice (though, let’s be real, the spice was a full-blown inferno). There’s a deep, aching tenderness layered beneath all the heat. The story navigates grief, trauma, and emotional healing with surprising depth. Watching these two broken souls slowly find their way to each other? It wrecked me.
And that ending? That smile-it-hurts kind of joy? Pure catharsis. I closed this book with a full heart, flushed cheeks, and one thought—damn, that was good.
