This took me sooooooo long to get through because the first half was kind of hard to follow after Helm's Deep.
The introduction of Gollum in the second half got me reading the story and finishing it in a week, when the first half took me a month and a half.
I'm going to read Return of the King soon, after two other books.
Though a long read, five stars.
