This was super sweet and written really well. Nothing too outside the box but there’s so much on KU that’s badly written and this was not one of them! I’ve read the Forsyth U series by Angel and another author which is a dark romance, but this is the opposite; however the writing is just as good. Light and fluffy and easy to read! And no unrealistic miscommunication tropes.
I’ve read some other reviews saying the FMC is a massive pick-me, and although I can see why people think that (she wears baggy clothes, doesn’t see her own beauty etc.), I saw her as quite genuine and the behaviour as a result of her emotional trauma. And I’m usually a massive cynic and HATE pick-me characters so maybe I just understood the character a bit more?
