This is the second book I have read of Kenzie's and it did not disappoint! Kenzie delivers on the spice from the get-go and somehow she keeps it coming NON-STOP through a majority of the book while still delivering character development, dilemma's the main characters are working through, and a little mystery. The reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the story is a liiiiitttttllle bit of insta-love. Not from the get go, but once they get there, BAM. But I guess when you know, you know. I still loved it.
Tropes: He falls first, Scottish MMC, Kink-positive, sex-positive, LGBTQ+ representation, independent-to-a-fault FMC, a little bit of mystery and fate mixed in
Spice: 5 chili peppers... did I mention it's pretty non-stop? lol
