At the Mountains of Madness by H.P. Lovecraft

3.0

Despite the premise being very interesting the book itself was tedious. Far too many long passages describing geological features or stocktaking equipment for their expedition. I'd like to see a film adaptation of this story as it has potential to be very interesting. Guillermo Del Torro planned to make an adaptation but couldn't get it off the ground. Indie filmmaker, Matt Cooper, is shortly releasing his version and I'm very excited to see what he produces.
