A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
4.0

this book was excruciatingly painful for the first 50 pages or so. it was a drag.
I'm glad the story improved and unfolded in a more explanatory and interesting way.
few things I must admit.

Ned Stark. I talked to the chief and he said this man ain't it.

Why did Robert have to be such a blind man? It's not even about the whole I-just-wanna-screw-around-and-not-rule-my-kingdom thing that he was going, which I totally get. It's just, can you really not see what everyone wrote with sharpies on their foreheads?

Was khal Drogo's death r e a l l y necessary? I mean, if you really think about it?

Tyrion Lannister is my favorite character following after Jon Snow. I will swing.

Although I understand the "who the fuck does Joffrey think he is?" team, is it really his fault? Y'all crowned a 13yo and expected there NOT to be a war.

Cersei is such a brilliantly written character? Like yes sis.

I'm gonna die if I don't find out who Jon's mother is.

Catelyn is kind of a major bitch.

and more but tis enough for now
