Who's Afraid of Gender? by Judith Butler

4.0

Much more readable than Gender Trouble, but I do feel like I've read more clarifying books on e.g. TERFs (Me Not You by Alison Phipps) and gender, even, and overall I don't think I really learned anything new from this book (but I have read fairly widely on the subject). Made me reframe my thinking a little but overall not anything life-changing which is generally what I'm looking for with anything too academic. Listened to the audiobook which was narrated by Butler and enjoyed their narration. Maybe would reread to highlight bits but not a must-read for me personally.
