Heartstopper healing my inner child? More likely than you think. I was not expecting to just cry reading these. They're so precious and heartwarming and Nick's coming out process is so similar to mine and being able to read that is just something so special and healing. I never let myself read as many queer novels as I should when I was younger because of internalized homophobia but now that I'm allowing myself to read all of them it's filling me with so much joy and happiness. I wished this was something I could have read when I was younger. I might very well finish all of the volumes out tonight.
