Naruto, Vol. 1: Uzumaki Naruto
by Masashi Kishimoto
Good. I understand why it is so popular now. Naruto is a young orphan trying to gain the respect of his peers by becoming the best ninja ever. He has fashioned himself into being a clown but he is very serious about his mission nevertheless. He is told why he leads a lonely existence and discovers a hidden talent that helps him on his journey. I think he'll meet other people who want to be the best but for different reasons. Great start to this series.
