Red Clocks by Leni Zumas

This book was SO GOOD. After reading some reviews I was worried it would be hard to get into and/or have an esoteric writing style but I found it straightforward and hard to put down. The characters were believable, flawed and yet easy to have empathy for, and I liked the way they all seemed separate at first but had lives that interlinked with each others. The book doesn't just focus on the bans on abortion and IVF that are the basis of the story, but makes wider observations on motherhood and male/female relationships.
