"you shouldn't have, it was reckless, it was dangerous, it was-"

"worth it,”

~ ♡ 5/5

first of all: after i finished this book i dissociated and stared at my wall for 45 minutes. i was so overwhelmed with so many feelings i didn’t know what to do.

second of all: this books writing flowed so perfectly and the world building wasn’t too overwhelming that i could pick up on things and piece them together before being told in detail.

crier was so beautifully written, even as an automa you could tell she was so much more human then she was a ‘leech’. the ending to the first book from her perspective was so, heartbreaking but really solidified how human like she was despite being brought up by her father.

ayla was also so beautifully written. the way she was portrayed. the way she wanted to love but feared she couldn’t made my heart hurt. she felt so deeply, and so much. i wish we got more time in her head.

kinok can die and i will stand and perish on that hill. idgaf if he redeems himself i hate him.

i loved everything about this book and i can’t wait to read the next one soon.
