Gideon the Ninth isn't quite like anything I've read before.  It's irreverent and very funny, very dark and very gay. It was, in fact, everything I had hoped it would be. 

I partially physically read this book, and partly listened to the audiobook, and Moira Quirk is an excellent narrator. I had a lot of fun with her.
