WOW. that word can describe this book. The Dimitri and Rose love story grows as they are swept into a criminal investigation... who killed the Queen? The answer is so shocking, the killer was never even suspected.As Dimitri and Rose try to solve the answers to the remaining mystery Dragomir child, they realize that their love has never, ever, faded. Rose finds herself in a very difficult situation with Adrian and Dimitri. Meanwhile, Lissa is entered into the Royal elections for Queen. She is put through tests and quizzed on her abilities. But will it matter in the end? Yes, it would, because rose helps her gain power by finding her only, half, sibling... An old friend. This was definately the best of all six books and I look forward to reading the next series by Richelle Mead.
