Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin

4.0

Well, if you want to know when Targaryen kings and Queens got their dragons, when they fought, what they ate, when they farted, this is the book for you. Fun aside, a fine attempt to give to the S.o.F. a historical depth. Although it feeds the reader more names than can be digested in 10 lives, it is fast paced (it is a chronicle, not an epic) and the edition I read had very nice illustrations.
