Did not finish book. Stopped at 11%.

Can’t follow what on earth is going on. The FMC feels needlessly rude. No motives are explained. Jumping from place to place without explanation. One minute they’re supposed to preform something, fight something called a nixie (with no idea what that is) by singing, talk about the FMC’s family and that she grew colder towards them for some unknown job for an unknown reason to some party for royalties? All in the first 2 chapters (33 pages).
