(This review includes spoilers!) Pax, Journey Home was a satisfying sequel to the original Pax. It tells about the effects of Peter losing his fox and how Pax moves on in the forest. Pax is more focused on taking care of his new family rather than on finding his boy. But then, Pax realizes that he may need Peter more than he thought he would and Peter knows deep down that he can't just brush off the fact that his fox is gone. This book is a story of friendship and enormous loss. It teaches you that you cannot leave the ones you love behind and that you can't hide away from your past. You need to face it head on and never forget your hardships, as scary as that may be.
