Remarkably evenhanded. Though taking the position between two extremes is often more of a strategic move to defuse criticism, in this case the author argues fairly convincingly that both the gun control and gun rights sides tend to pointless extremism which is out of line with what most Americans actually want. It would be interesting to see more of this author's thoughts on the topic.
