This was a nice secondary mystery and wrap up (of the duology) all in one.

There were moments when I was confused, both because it's been four years since I read book one so I didn't remember all the details, and the three different timelines until they merged. The latter is hard to explain without being as equally confusing.

A lot of the names being similar, mixed with the usage of full names and nicknames, sometimes within the same sentence, also didn't help.

But the mystery and the twists. Ooh boy. Maybe a bit overly twisted in the grand scheme of things, yet it works.
I'd hate to have to write out all the family trees, though.

I readily recommend this duology. Just don't wait too long between reading them both like I did.
