So much more clever and funnier than the movie! Don't get me wrong I LOVE the movie, but for this series I have to think of them as separate entities because of how incredibly different they are. I won't get into spoilers here, but if you love the movie please check this book series out. Mia is absolutely hysterical in the books and the characters are so much more complex and fleshed out. Also Michael is so sweet.
