I would have liked an ending where Solomon gets more of what he wanted but it was wonderful .
Hannah is not the prince but the hunter in this version of Snow White which doesn't become clear until later.
I would
love to sit in on a book club discussion of Frederick by Jewish people since his role in the narrative as villain and Christian convert is interesting and I'd like to hear that discussed. He becomes in his villainy the evil stereotype despite turning his back on the Jewish community and yet I suspect at the time there would have been no acknowledgement of that if his crimes were discovered.
