The first 475 (!!!) pages of this are recap, which would be handy if it had been two years since the last book but I didn’t need at all. But I liked the “novella” (300 pages is just a regular book, though) and its different format. It didn’t drag, and it’s what book 7 should have been. Bygones, bygones.
