I normally don’t enjoy books with these types of mystical characters in it (the true identity of the characters at the end). However, I did have a good time reading this!

Violet has just started her school year off at Winterhaven boarding school. She very quickly figures out that this is exactly where she belongs. Why?! Because every child in the school has some type of psychic gift… including violet. Not only can she now learn to control her own gift, but she can also explore what the other children are capable of doing!
That’s when she meets Aiden. She is instantly infatuated with his mysterious, intelligent, and bad boy personality! This attraction leads to exactly what violet was afraid of… her visions showing her what she doesn’t want to see. Aiden’s death. However, She decides that there is no way this one is coming true. Will she be able to change Aiden’s fate? And
what will she be willing to give up to do so?

So like I mentioned before… I normally hate books like this. But for some reason I was really intrigued with these student’s gifts! The physic powers specially were unique (aside from a few of course). It is definitely a young read.. cause the students seemed extremely immature and the story line was basic. But sometimes I break from complicated story lines is refreshing!

I was interested in reading the second book… but I genuinely think this ending was good enough for me! everything wrapped up nicely and I’m happy with where the characters are!
