Disappointing. I take back what I said in my review of the first book saying that this series isn’t the same as Red Queen because there are so many differences. There are too many similarities between the two series at this point. Even so, the plot and resolutions felt lazy and underwhelming. Also, why was THAT the route you decided to go in?? The last 60 pages is essentially a pre-epilogue filler.  
It felt like Roberts’s heart wasn’t in this one like the first. 

Would not recommend, especially if you were so-so about the first two books.
