Sometimes it was hard to read as I hold a lot of resentment and anger about the church and especially at the beginning Monique doesn't think critically about a lot of things but I loved reading about her story and her struggles with sex and self worth where incredibly relatable and inspiring. The topics where dealt with incredibly well.
