The Solitaire Mystery
by Jostein Gaarder
This book is phenomenal to me. There are no words. But I'll try to convey a little.
"On rare occasions—and when you’re very lucky—you stumble upon a book that awakens a dimension of you that you had not known existed. A story that feels like an unlocking, or a becoming, like something inside you is shifting into a new and strange place—piecing itself together or breaking apart or both. It’s a wonderful feeling: to find a story that you can carry within you so powerfully it sears through your bones, and takes root in your chest, and winds itself so tightly around your being it becomes an inextricable part of you." - from chai's review
This is what this book feels to me.

An incredible journey that the characters take you, not only with historical facts but with philosophical quotes that made me swell. Really.
I recommend this book to everyone because I feel like, at the end of it, everyone finds a character that they identify the most with. This is definitely a book that I wanna visit again sometime in the future and I don't usually read a book twice.
"I don't belong anywhere.
I am neither a heart, a diamond, a club, nor a spade. I am neither a King, a Jack, an Eight, nor an Ace.
As I am here - I am merely the Joker, and who that is I have had to find out for myself.
Every time I toss my head, the jingling bells remind me that I have no family.
I have no number - and no trade either.
I have gone around observing your activities from the outside.
Because of this, I have also been able to see things to which you have been blind.
Every morning you have gone to work, but you have never been fully awake.
It is different for the Joker because he was put into this world with a flaw:
he sees too deeply and too much."
