i thoroughly enjoyed this book and these characters. pippa is in need of a job and becomes an assistant to her high school crush, jamie, who also had a crush on her in high school. they enter into this forced proximity, boss/employee relationship and it’s fantastic. i loved the dual POV and getting all aspects of their budding relationship. it was a slow burn and i felt like that just added to their situation. once they admitted feelings for one another, it was explosive. their chemistry was off the charts hottttt and so good. jamie had such a dirty mouth and i enjoyed it all. i loved that he coached pippa and was just there for her throughout all she went through, just as she was there for him. there was no third act breakup and fantastic communication which brings so much more to the story.
