Fury's Kiss by Nicola R. White

2.0

This book was weird and I hated the narrator.

The accents in Fury's Kiss were laughable. I couldn't take the characters or the narrator seriously - especially when she did her guy voice. Speaking of the characters, I didn't like Jackson. I didn't want to ship him and Tara even if the smut was a bit good. No, because I hated him. Ugh the way he talked to and treated Tara made me rolls my eyes and plan his death at the same time. Besides her, the way he took "charge" of his sister and her kid was frustrating. It's like everyone's drinking crazy juice because I would've snapped at my brother if he ever did that to me. I don't give a flying fuck who you are in my life.. it's my invisible and fake kid - not yours!

Then there's Tara.. and ugh, I just can't! She constantly did stupid shit and I just ended up getting annoyed. I'll admit, these two had some weird ass chemistry going on throughout the book.. but the weird shit was just too much for me.

Overall, this book wasn't for me. It had potential but just turned out to be a disappointment. I'm sad because I picked this book for a BR and I definitely have to question my choices on books now.
