A Court of Wings and Ruin @therealsjmaas

Finishing 2023 with the conclusion of Feyre's story. I loved this book. Yet I found myself skimming certain sections because of pacing issues.

The beginning with Feyre in the Spring Court was just as great I remembered. I loved how well Lucien could sniff out what she was up to while Tam and Ianthe were just well Tam and Ianthe.

The middle was were I had some issues. I felt like nothing was happening and yet there was an urgency undercurrent. Sure it was necessary and some parts I loved but it slowed down way too much for me.

After the High Lord meeting, everything got kicked up to 11! The final battle was epic and heartbreaking, as SJM always delivers. It wrapped up nicely and yet still left me wanting more!

My journey through this reread isn't over and I can't wait to finish the series!
