I picked this up at the used book store quite a while ago, but never got around to reading it. I finally picked it up. Overall, I enjoyed it, though there were some definite problems. First, the romance came out of nowhere and wasn't really well done at all. Second, by the time I got to the end of the book, I couldn't remember why they were doing this in the first place. I also had a hard time believing their conclusions. They felt like this:

"Hey! If that a tiny picture of a star on that wall over there? Then the answer to this "riddle" MUST be about the fabled star of whosiwhatsit because he lived just 46.2 miles from here and I heard that he wore a hat that had a star on it."

Yes, that makes perfect sense.
