A more perfect movie than The Princess Bride? I don't believe it exists. This was an impulse-listen (I desperately needed something to listen to while I was at the gym) and it was SUCH a good one--so much fun and so many cool anecdotes about the process of making The Princess Bride and all the larger-than-life (sometimes literally) individuals behind the scenes making it. It sounds like the movie was as much fun to make as it is to watch, and there's something incredibly wholesome about that.
Also, highly recommend the audiobook--it's full cast, which in this case, means the full cast of the movie! Everyone has their own little section of recollections, anecdotes, and so on, and with a few notable exceptions, it's almost the whole cast of the movie reading their own parts of the audiobook. Cary Elwes narrates most of the book, which was a real treat.
